During several months a group of women from Faro, who are living in vulnerable contexts, participated in participatory and community based workshops. They promoted self-esteem, personal and collective development and citizenship among the group.
These women often live imprisoned by prejudice, sexism, and discrimination both within and outside their communities.
A range of themes were addressed, promoting inner reflection in each participant, culminating in a collective exhibition with a self-portrait drawn and decorated by them based on their experiences.
