From 18 to 21 October, our Bulgarian partners successfully carried out their four-day titled ”Light, Lens… LISTEN”, capacity-building event in the provincial town of Topolovgrad, bringing together members of the local community and bridging intergenerational gap.
Led by facilitators Mina Hristova, Vanina Ninova, and Prof. Anna Krasteva, the sessions combined creativity, storytelling, and technical skills. Elderly participants and children worked side by side, exploring how to express their civic concerns and community assets through photography and short videos.
Participants learned how to capture moments that reflect their reality and then transform them into a powerful short film, merging emotion, creativity, and message. The event was not only about learning new skills but also about empowerment, connection, and collective expression.
