The Bunch is an art collective and cultural platform that develops site-specific residencies and independent art festivals in collaboration with small towns outside major cultural centers.
Its practice is based on bringing together artists and researchers who have never met before, inviting them to live and work collectively in close relation to a specific territory. These temporary communities generate artistic outcomes shaped by the encounter between people and place.
Both the film “Viaggiare nella maionese” and the exhibition realized in and for Fondazione Cardarelli emerge from this residency-based process, developed during The Bunch Festival editions 2024 and 2025. The film was created during a residency in Torre Faro (ME) in collaboration with Fondazione Antonio Presti and is currently being submitted to film festivals. The exhibition, hosted by Fondazione Cardarelli in Ripatransone (AP), is now entering a phase of continuity, care, and possible reactivation.
The prize will contribute to a shared production budget supporting the circulation of the film and the continued development and reactivation of the residency exhibition.
