The Three-day mutual learning study visit held in Faro and Olhão, Portugal, bringing together 25 participants from 6 European countries to exchange innovative community engagement practices.
Visits to 11 local organisations working with communities facing geographic isolation, Roma inclusion, LGBTQIA+ rights, disability, youth participation, and community sustainability, promoting peer learning and knowledge exchange.
The use of participatory action research and co-design methodologies, enabled project partners and local stakeholders to collaboratively identify community needs and develop practical, locally grounded solutions.
Co-produced Action Plan for inclusive public-space interventions, developed throughout the festival and serving as the operational foundation for the follow-up Design My City and European Placemaking Academy initiatives.
