The LISTEN Online Exhibition & Contest highlighted how arts-based and community-led initiatives can strengthen social inclusion, civic participation, and intercultural dialogue across Europe.
The initiative featured 19 creative projects submitted by grassroots organisations, schools, community groups, and cultural initiatives from multiple European countries, demonstrating innovative approaches to community engagement.
The online screening event “VOICES.IDEAS.IMPACT – Celebrating Community Engagement” brought together 155 participants from 12 countries to exchange experiences, present projects, and celebrate community-driven creativity.
The contest also highlighted the winners with outstanding community initiatives, promoting the transfer of inspiring practices to policymakers through the LISTEN Policy Roundtable.
The initiative further demonstrated participatory arts and creative methodologies as effective tools for empowering communities, amplifying underrepresented voices, and fostering democratic participation and social cohesion across Europe.
