We live in a world that is increasingly connected through technology, yet often distant on a human level. Voices of the World – Stories That Connect Us is a video storytelling project that aims to document authentic stories from people and communities around the world. Through short documentary-style videos, the project focuses on individuals whose lives reflect the culture, identity, and everyday realities of their communities.
Rather than simply showing places, the project seeks to listen and give space to real voices: a fisherman who has spent his life at sea, a surfer who finds freedom in the ocean, an artisan preserving a family tradition, or a young artist shaping change in their community. These small, personal stories can reveal universal values and help create connections between people from different cultures.
The €500 contribution would support the first stage of the project by helping cover essential production costs such as portable audio equipment for interviews, storage devices for safely archiving video footage, and small travel or logistical expenses needed to reach and document the first stories.
The goal is to create an accessible collection of human stories.
